Richard Neal is a painter and sculptor working at Chalkboard Studio in Barnstable, Massachusetts. He was born in Washington, DC, grew up in Maryland and earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth. He holds a Master of Fine Arts from the Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan. His work has been exhibited in many group and one-person shows and is included in numerous private collections.

Richard’s work was featured in Chelsea, New York City at Pop Sock Monkey and at the Matter & Light Gallery in Boston. He was also recently exhibited at the Dadian Gallery in Washington, DC, at Winston-Salem College in North Carolina, and at the Cape Cod Museum of Art in Dennis, MA. He is the inaugural recipient of the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod Fellowship.
